Inland Empire Hot Spring Spas, INC.

Over 35 years ago Jim Baylus, owner of Inland Empire Hot Spring Spas, and his brother started a tiny service company repairing spas and hot tubs. The portable spa industry was in its infancy, and there was a real "wild-west" kind of atmosphere. Sales shops and "service companies" were popping up all over the place, with very mixed results. There existed a service vacuum that catered to customers in the same manner the other home appliance manufacturers offered. The brothers took their experiences from working retail, and applied customer service satisfaction to thier newest venture, grew the company and hired staff.

In 1986, after opening a small retail spa store in Moreno Valley, a chance to become a Hot Spring Spa dealer presented itself, and shortly therefter, Inland Empire Hot Spring Spas was born. The local area was a booming new home market, and Inland Empire Hot Spring Spas quickly became one of the largest selling single-stores in the dealer network.

In the mid-90s many of the company's original customers wanted to trade-in and trade-up their spas to the latest models, and a new aspect of the business was born. Taking their old spas in trade helped them defer the cost of a new spa, and after the company completely refurbished the old model, a market for first-time spa buyers on a budget was created. In 2000, after moving into the current, and larger, space, the famous line of Doughboy Pools was added, making Inland Empire Hot Spring Spas a complete and one-stop shop for all thing spa, hot tub and swimming pool related.

The success of the 2020 season allowed us to upgrade our showroom to a newer center, and we also added the exciting line of Endless Pools, the premier swim spa and fitness pool in the nation.

To this day, Inland Empire Hot Spring Spas continues to flourish, having built a large customer base of happy pool and spa owners, that continue to patronize our store and refer freinds, co-workers and family members to the advantages of owning a Hot Spring Spa or a Doughboy Pool and from a company that appreciates them!
