Best Mocktails for Summer Hot Tubbing

We have reached the middle of summer and you can’t wait for the kids to go back to school already. While you’re taking a dip in the spa at the end of the day, escaping the chaos, there’s nothing better than having an ice-cold drink in hand.

Since it is not recommended to consume alcohol while hot tubbing, why not try your hand at some fancy mocktails? Mocktails are mixed drinks you may typically find at a bar, just without any alcohol. Even the kids can enjoy!

Here are 5 of our favorite mocktail recipes for the whole family to sip on this summer.

Pina Colada

This non-alcoholic recipe by The Spruce Eats is rich and creamy with the classic pineapple taste. Transport yourself to the warm beaches of Mexico with just one sip. See recipe here.

Watermelon Nojito

Truthfully dubbed a “no-jito,” this fruity twist on a classic mojito by Taste does not contain alcohol. Get fancy with sugar-rimmed glasses and top each drink with a juicy watermelon slice. See recipe here.

Lemon Lavender

For a more complex flavor profile, try this lemon lavender mocktail by The Merry Thought. The mixture of lemon, lavender, and bitters is shaken with ice to perfection. See recipe here.

Apple Pie Mule

If you’re dreaming of chilly fall days during a scorching summer, the apple pie mule by The Cookie Rookie is for you. Cozy notes of sweet apple and fresh cinnamon in an icy concoction are sure to cool you down while satisfying your longing for a new season. (Simply leave out the vodka to make it a mocktail.) See recipe here.

Mango Lemon Margarita

Travel to a tropical paradise with sweet mango and bright Meyer lemon in this mocktail by An Edible Mosaic. Fresh mango puree and mint garnishes on a sugared rim will take you right to a 5-star resort on the sand in no time. See recipe here.
